Taking Sides

We live in a politically correct world that is preoccupied with media.

Have you noticed? Every news broadcast feels obligated to present both sides of every issue and story.

For the most part that is likely a very good thing.

But, not always.

A friend shared a quote with me recently from the movie, The Quiet American.

"Sooner or later, Mr. Fowler, one has to take sides if one is to remain human."

Many situations and circumstances confronted in the city force such a choice.

Funny thing, I must have missed the liberal media presenting both sides of every issue.

Anonymous, can you define the liberal media, and provide examples of what you are talking about?

Or do you just mean that there are media that present views that do not perfectly support the views/biases that you had prior to tuning in, and are therefore "liberal"? For example, when a media outlet accurately reports something negative about the current President, is that being liberal?
