So now this is a political blog? I guess it no longer matters who is offended as long as the others can get a good laugh out if it.

Happy April Fool's to you too, Larry!

PERTINENT AND WITTY. Perfect contextual joke for this blog!

I love you guy, and I know what day it is. The real unedited speech that Limbaugh gave to CPAC was one of the most awesome speeches I have ever heard. He can be made fun of and dismissed by the left, but he is seldom answered by the left. I hope I am still entitled to my humble opinion.

Well, you totally got me on this one, partly because I think I'm pretty gullible, and partly because I thought it was still March 31!

Good one! And for those who think it may be harsh on Rush L., with the unmitigated hatred this man spews out, I believe it's wholly appropriate.

Rush does not spew out hatred, Karen. Maybe you should take the Limbaugh challenge.

If you ever bothered to listen to him you would realize that he has done a lot to inspire people to lift themselves out of poverty.

He loves this country and is a real patriot, unlike socialist Jim Wallis.

Chris,

Not surprisingly, we will have to agree to disagree.

I've come to see from your comments in general that 'socialist' is an epithet you apply to anyone who does not hold your political views. Quite honestly, this discredits most everything you say.

Other than that, the tone of your response to me is civil, which I appreciate.

Thanks for allowing us to have a little fun yesterday with this one. And yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion and point of view here. And no, this is no a political blog, this is a blog that gets at issues from a value perspective, in my case, that is informed by my understanding of my faith journey. Thanks for the comments.

Richard, no one's dismissing RL here... the video is a tribute to his popularity and more of a "what if..." What if RL was that motivated about a sense of social responsibility and commitment to those in poverty?

"So now this is a political blog?" This blog is all about faith and poverty in the real world. Of course, it of necessity includes politics, although it is not limited to politics. If that surprises you, you must not have been reading it very long.
