Morning spent in a food line. . .ever been there?

Have you ever stood in such a line waiting to receive food for you and your family?

Recently, I captured these scenes at our Resource Center in inner city East Dallas before 9 a.m.

We must do better as a community.

We simply must.  What do you think?

That line is probably all Democrats!

Who knows, who cares? What's your point? Most come from working families, but don't earn enough to make ends meet. I'll take the directives of my faith over political cynicism any day, Chris.

Thanks Larry - have not caught up here in a while. Congrats on the name change. God bless!

Cool name change Larry - congrats. May God continue to bless your ministry. Loved the sidewalk chalk messages.

And don't forget to adjust your halo! BTW what is your faith, if you don't mind my asking?

I am a Christian. You? BTW--no halo.

City Square does incredible work in making sure that people have the food they need. The only line I stand in to get food is the grocery line, waiting to pay. I can't imagine being in the circumstances of the people in the picture. I don't understand the cynicism and underlying resentment of Chris and Dallaswatchdog.
