Last week, I received notice that a comment had been left on my YouTube site that responded to a video clip of the CitySquare Food Pantry that I posted over two years ago.

Here's what the comment said:

Is it still rent free?

I don't know the answer to that, but does it matter? Rent in a cheap apartment in Dallas is about $600/month - $7,200 a year. The easiest part of the homeless population costs 10's of thousands in public services (hospital visits, jail time for vagrancy, etc.) each, every year. He's better off housed. Everyone else is better off, both not stepping over him on the sidewalk, and financially. It's a win/win.

So let's all quit working and get free housing, oh and throw in food stamps too.
