I hope you don't brainwash them in your political views!

I hope they are exposed to a wide range of views and opinions and given an opportunity to think for themselves, which is part of what college is supposed to be about. I am confident they will be.

Universities, with few exceptions, are indoctrination
centers for the liberal point of view. If you don't understand this, then you have been under a rock. I would hope ACU is the exception. The entire American education system is that way, if you haven't noticed.

In the elite universities, they are 87% liberal and 13% conservative. In fact, if you were an anarchist at one time, so much the better.

No matter what Larry posts, some readers can only go in one direction. Pity the person who has only one track to run on intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually. Larry, I wish you would block comments. . .it gets tiresome.

"Universities, with few exceptions, are indoctrination
centers for the liberal point of view." That is a ridiculously broad overstatement. There are some 3,750 colleges in this country. They are incredibly diverse. The need to paint everything one color (and always liberal) is a tired Fox News habit. Universities have been painted this way since the 1960's. If they are "indoctrination" centers, the large red swaths on the political map clearly indicate they've failed. So what are you worried about?

Anon 10:19, you end up doing the same thing you accuse another of doing with the "tired Fox News" statement. I would say to everyone that when we put out statistics that we back them up with sources. I have no idea how many colleges and universities are basically conservative or liberal. My gut feeling is that there are more with a liberal bent, but that is just my feeling. I would agree most with Anon 10:09 when he/she calls for a wide range of views. That is why I often try to read books that Larry recommends. Learning is difficult if you only seek one source for you information regardless of the slant.

I am excited about this program and I'm choosing to give God the glory IN ADVANCE for the great things He will do through the students and in the community. Thank you, Larry, for your courage, determination, and passion. What you are doing matters!
