Public sold out!

National leaders need to listen to the public about simple, common sense gun control.

Whatever the intention of the framers of the Second Amendment, I believe we can agree it did not include the right of mentally ill persons, violent criminals or people listed on a terrorist watch list to bear arms.

Why, none of those people could even join a "well-regulated militia"!

In keeping with that spirit, here's how the dollar bounces in the U. S. Senate.

Let me tell you, this behavior doesn't play well in the inner city where I live.

  1. There was no sell out, only a verification of the 2nd amendment "..A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

  2. How does Fast and Furious play in the city where you live? If anyone should be held accountable how about the Obama Administration?

  4. No. It was a sell out pure and simple. If you think six figure and million dollar contributions in close races do not make our elected representatives tow the line when it comes to votes on subjects those donors care about, you are naive or deluded. Admittedly the NRA was simply using the pay to play system we now have, but it is stomach turning every time it happens, whatever the subject.

  5. Gun crime has fallen dramatically since the 1990 's. Never let an imagined crisis go to waste. Crimes committed with a fun has gone down 70%
