Langston Hughes is a favorite of mine.
Many things have changed since he penned his prophetic and challenging poem, "I, Too."
Reflect.
Give thanks!

Freedom

Some folks think
By burning books
They burn Freedom.
Some folks think
By imprisoning Nehru
They imprison Freedom.
Some folks think
By lynching a Negro
They lynch Freedom.
But Freedom
Stands up and laughs
In their faces
And says,
You'll never kill me!
