In the shoes of another

My friend and community advocate, Michael Davis (Dallas Progress) sent me information about Mark Horvath, a top TV executive in Hollywood who lost all he owned.

Out of work and with a home going into foreclosure, Horvath quickly became homeless. With no income or a roof over his head, Horvath still had to do something. So he started Invisiblepeople.tv, a personal first account video blog designed to give homelessness a face and voice.

Like to get into someone else's real life shoes?

Here's your chance.

Check it out.

Rough, hard, true reality.

These videos are hard to watch because they represent the reality most of us don't want to face. We prefer our own misperceptions and justifications.

There is a good post and video today on the Dallas Homeless Blog worthy of looking at too.

Thanks Larry for keeping this issue in the forefront.
