Heavenly endorsement of peaceful games?

Tell Mr. Britt that there is no such thing as a Sikh Muslim and he might want to study the Muslim religion a little more deeply. The religion is not as benign as he would have people think.

Anonymous 9:46, You are right. I will make the correction about Sikhs tomorrow. And, by the way, Christianity is not as benign as some people think either. Few major religions are...

It's politically correct to down play the fact that Islam is not a religion of peace. Ever here of Sharia law? Have you ever heard the testimony of former Muslims? These are not fringe Muslums, but mainstream.

Hey,why does Gerald Britt get to post on this blog, but no one gets to post on his? My thought is he can't handle the heat!

Britt,
Way to defend your former faith. My guess is that you are 100% Black liberation Theology

Anonymous 5:17, no I'm actually pretty theologically conservative. I just don't read the Bible through a filter of privilege. Anonymous 5:13, I very, very rarely post on Larry's blog. I don't accept posts on my blog because I believe that if my views (even my mistakes) are posted under my own name, then those who post their views should do so under their own -real- names. If not, I don't see myself as having an obligation to allow anyone to inflict upon myself or my readers hateful, spiteful and rancorous opinions. I do invite those who feel the need to spew venom to start their own blog. There apparently is a readership that shares their views...

Rev. Britt, I have read you blog on occasion. You are an excellent writer, but I also disagree with much of what you write. In your post about the Sikhs you said about the implications about the shooting and the shooter. " He is evidence that we need to move politicians who don't know how to be responsible in front of microphones that reach a national audience away from those microphones. We need to shun them first and shame them if they continue to spew hate-filled nonsense and idiocy. Yes, there is free speech. But we must severely and relentlessly

challenge and criticize speech that promotes rancor, hate and misinformation. And we should stop dismissing such speech as 'entertainment'. There's nothing 'entertaining' about it." What about the outright lie of Harry Ried about Romney not paying taxes for 20 years? What about the latest commercial suggesting that Romney was responsible for a woman dying of cancer? You seem to be very frustrated and angry.
I don't understand why you do not even allow the possibility of a response even with your explanation. Could you not at least filter the comments to weed out the nuts?

Mr. Britt's entry for August 9th is comical. It's real civility when one accuses his opponent of murder.

RC, you can't claim these are outright lies. If Mr. Romney has paid taxes, why wouldn't he release his tax returns to prove it. John McCain vetted him 4 years ago, so he would know what's in those returns, yet John McCain has not come out to defend Mittens. So obviously John McCain and Mittens know that Harry Reid is a lot closer to the truth than they are willing to admit.

If he hadn't paid taxes, the IRS would be all over him. Don't you know the Dems have already put the IRS on his trail?

Britt your blog "no post rationalization" doesn't hold water. You don't allow counterpoints because much of what you write in your blog is tainted and you cannot defend the reader/writer criticism.
