Detroit without much comment. . .

Last week I visited Detroit.

 To be more specific, southwest Detroit's inner city neighborhoods.

The photos posted here came out of my phone.

Key impressions:

• vacant land, everywhere
• devastated housing stock
• dirt, grime, trash, graffiti
• despair

I wept.
