Friday Night Lights. . .casting call!

Always dream of a career in the movies or television?

This could be your big break!

We have been contacted by a casting agency for Friday Night Lights, the hit television series on NBC about a fictional high school football team in West Texas. The program is based on the H. G. Bissinger book and movie by the same title that tells the story of legendary Odessa Permian High School football.

The show needs cast!

So, here's the deal: an episode will be shot at Texas Stadium on Friday, March 9th and Saturday, March 10th.
Extras are needed to play the fans in the stands! The only limitation is that children cannot be under 10.

Okay, so it's not a leading role. But, you have to start somewhere, right?

Participants can attend Friday or Saturday or both.

If you sign up to participate you will be expected to stay for the duration of filming (4 – 10 hours). Exact start times are still to be determined, but all filming will be during daylight hours.

Snacks and beverages will be provided for everyone throughout the day and, if filming extends past six hours, lunch with be provided. Also during the day there will be raffles and giveaways.

Now for the payoff!

For each person attending as a representative of Central Dallas Ministries a donation will be made to CDM at the following rate:

10-30 attendees $15 per person

31-2,500 attendees $20 per person

If all of you sign up and show up, CDM will benefit greatly and you'll have an experience you'll not soon forget.

Important information if you want to take part: contact Lisa Goolsby no later than this Thursday, March 1 by email (lgoolsby@CentralDallasMinistries.org) or by phone (214.823.8710 ext 138).

Should be interesting and fun!

owldog,

They called us! That's how we got involved. The casting agency based out of Austin was calling non-profits and we got a call. I'm glad you will be joining in on the fun!
